Combining my thoughts of my place on the path left by my teacher and the inevitably of another's replacement of my position of questioning, I sought to provide an answer that I asked long ago. Along the Grain

My first film, Along the Grain, was about a father and daughter connected after the passing of the mother. What was about processing the loss of a teacher became the loss of a parent as well. These films have taken so long to let go of because of financial hardships and of course, being sure I'm doing it for the right reasons. I've never cared about clout, money, awards, it's always been about checking on that kid that processed so much, so young.
